3D Holography is a fantastic technology to be used for displaying cultural artefacts. Holography enable the creation of truly exceptional imaginative displays of objects, artefacts and themes. Trikona has been involved in a number of projects with Museums; most notably with the International Museum and the National Museum of India.

Trikona has the capabilities, experience and security in-house to deal with culturally sensitive and valuable artefacts. Trikona Holography offer Museums the following advantages;

  • Alternative methods for the display of artefacts
  • The public exhibition of fragile artefacts to sensitive or delicate for public display.
  • The display of artefacts and objects not usually on display
  • A way of varying and refreshing displays without disturbing permanent displays
  • Exciting new use of gallery areas
  • Use of areas not normally used for display
  • Create new themed displays using artefacts and objects in other collections
  • The distribution of artefacts without having to move the original
  • Stimulating interest and reaching out to communities via travelling hologram displays
  • A revenue and fund raising stream by selling holograms of artefacts and objects to schools, colleges, universities and the general public
  • A way of larger Museums reaching out to smaller ones without the insurance costs
  • Protection of sensitive artefacts
  • A substitute for artefacts and objects taken out of display for loan or maintenance.

Depending on the object holography images can be made from Digital data (via scanning and 3D model processes to produce Digital Holograms – an excellent process for large objects. Alternatively holography images can be recorded using analogue techniques in our studio. Holography is also useful method of investigation. Holography can be created using the data from scanning and other imaging techniques. For more information please contact us......
